JetBrains Plugin License Agreement

Scope

These terms cover the WebhookMon plugin for JetBrains IDEs (IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, PhpStorm, WebStorm, GoLand, Rider and other IDEs built on the IntelliJ Platform), distributed through the JetBrains Marketplace. The WebhookMon app for Mac has its own license agreement.

Purchases of the plugin are made through the JetBrains Marketplace. Payment, invoices, taxes, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by JetBrains under its Purchasing Terms and the JetBrains Marketplace Agreement. These terms cover your use of the plugin and of the WebhookMon relay.

Grant of License

Free features. Anyone may install the plugin and use its free features at no charge: creating one endpoint, the most recent 20 events, signature verification and live forwarding to a target you enter.

Paid features. While you hold an active paid subscription or evaluation license obtained through the JetBrains Marketplace, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the plugin's paid features, including replay, run-configuration targets, fixtures, sample events, up to ten endpoints and up to 1,000 stored events per endpoint. A personal subscription is for one named individual. An organization subscription covers the people the organization assigns it to. Either may be used on any number of computers that person uses.

You may not redistribute, sell or sublicense the plugin, remove or work around its license checks, or decompile or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits this despite this restriction.

Evaluation, Subscription and Updates

The JetBrains Marketplace offers a 30-day evaluation of the paid features. When an evaluation or subscription ends, the paid features stop working and the free features continue. Stored events beyond the free limit are removed, oldest first, as new events arrive.

An active subscription includes the updates and new versions released during its term. Where the JetBrains Marketplace grants a perpetual fallback license for your purchase, you may keep using the version that license covers under these terms.

The Relay Service

WebhookMon depends on a hosted relay to receive webhooks on your behalf. The relay is provided as part of the plugin, for free and paid features alike, and is described in the privacy policy. Events are encrypted at the relay to your signed-in devices, so the relay cannot read them. We may change the relay's technical operation, or discontinue it with reasonable notice to license holders; we are not responsible for events a provider fails to deliver, or for downtime of the relay or of the provider sending the webhook.

The relay is provided for development and testing, not for production traffic. An account may have up to five signed-in devices (each IDE installation and each Mac counts as one) and up to ten endpoints. An account may receive up to 5,000 events per day (UTC) across all of its endpoints, and each endpoint up to 300 events per minute; deliveries above these limits are refused. An endpoint to which no device has connected for thirty (30) days is paused, and refuses deliveries, until a device connects to it again. We may suspend accounts that abuse the relay service.

Your Data

Signing secrets and your account token are kept in your IDE's password safe. Captured events are stored on your computer. Test fixtures the plugin writes into your project become part of your project, and you are responsible for what you commit from them, including any header values a provider sent.

Termination

This license ends automatically if you breach these terms. You may stop using the plugin at any time by uninstalling it. To delete your relay account and its data, use Delete Account in the Mac app or email [email protected]; deletion is described in the privacy policy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

WebhookMon is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. In no event shall the author be liable for any consequential, incidental, or special damages arising out of the use or inability to use this software or the relay service.
